2nd Line IT Support Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and motivated 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd line support for IT-related incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Manage Group SharePoint and set up for new Group entities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including servers, desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Assist with network administration tasks, including configuration, maintenance, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with 1st line support to escalate and resolve complex issues, ensuring effective communication and documentation.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure projects.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure security and reliability.
- Provide on-site support when required, maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a 2nd line IT support role or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, including troubleshooting and support.
- Experience with network protocols, firewall configurations, and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365, and other enterprise-level applications.
- Excellent working knowledge of SharePoint.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
